About us
Aztec Dave’s, the elite authentic Mexican Experience/food truck in Chicago, family run and dishing out Mexican favorites with a modern twist. We opened Aztec Dave’s Cantina in December 2021 and added craft agave cocktails to make a rustic inviting vibe for our guests- When you dine with us, you are like family.
Aztec Dave’s focuses on authentic Mexican recipes and ingredients derived from our own grandmother and adds a modern twist. We pride ourselves on the freshest ingredients and top quality marinated meats. Everything is homemade and prepared fresh daily; from our flame-grilled meats to our original salsas. Cocktails, beer and spirits highlight regional Mexican and local ingredients with an emphasis on Agave and Mexican spirits.
We opened in March 2015 with our first truck because we wanted to share with Chicago very fresh, quality and affordable Mexican food. Many people think of quick, cheap, mid tier quality food when they think of some of the Mexican food here in the city. We wanted to show people a different side of Mexican comfort cuisine with a focus on quality- meats and the freshest ingredients. We marinate our meats in a secret seasoning and lime juice that gives a distinct mouth watering flavor when it is flame grilled. We operate two full size food trucks, a brick and mortar and full scale catering services from onsite to delivery/drop-off services and onsite bar service.
